Thank you for visiting my blog and for wanting to find out more about me.

I am a qualified child care worker and have worked with children of varying ages in both Australia and the United Kingdom (I am from Scotland where I completed my formal training).

My motivation behind this blog is to provide valuable information resources to contribute something worthwhile for the health and wellbeing of children for parents, teachers and carers. I am a believer in getting back to basics, nature and in touch with the environment and you will find resources on this site that are designed to encourage this and to get those creative juices flowing.

I also intend adding resources that will provide fun, low cost alternatives to television and computer games etc.
